Had a fun day - morning Mom and I went to the Playzone for a playdate with some other kids. And then after my nap we went to see The Durham Museum. I of course LOVED the real trains they had that I could "climb aboard" I ran around so much Mom had a hard time getting any good pics. Giggles!

Playing outside in the snow for a little bit. Going to watch "Ice Age" with Mom tonight.

Saturday: February 6, 2010

In this pic I'm dancing around to one of my favorite movies on the television "Ratatouille"   But my good mood didn't last very long cause I was REALLY tired from being up all night last night. Yesterday evening I got sick from a stomach bug or something I ate. Mom think it was the smoothie we had at the mall. I threw up around 10 times. Yuck! Today I did feel better. Grandma and Grandpa came over to watch me while Mom and Dad caught a hockey game together. Hopefully tomorrow my tummy will feel much better.

Had a GREAT day! Mom and I went out for breakfast this morning and then went to the Children's Museum. I sure had a lot of fun there. I ran all over the place. The construction zone exhibit was neat. They had tools, building stuff, and even a digging area. I enjoyed playing in the fire truck, shopping for groceries, and playing in the water. Mom says we will go back again if I want to. I WANT TO!  Giggles.

Sunday: January 31, 2010

Church this morning with Daddy (sorry I didn't want to sit still and talked a lot). Then the three of us hung out in the family visitor center on base this morning. Saw Daddy's plane from a distance. Then home to hang out with Mom around the house. We watched a new movie called "Spirit" - it had horses in it... I liked it.

TRAINS!!! Had fun at the train expo today. Ran around a lot! Wanted to touch everything but couldn't, so that was hard... but still enjoyed it. I really liked the train that smoke came out of, and the exhibits with the glass protectors so I could get really close. Mommy bought me a few train cars (broken ones) to take home. And Grandpa and Grandpa took us out for lunch.

Friday: January 29, 2010

Got to spend a little time with Grandma today while Mom went to a job interview. I was so tired tonight that I fell asleep on Mom and Dad's bed with the TV and light on. Tomorrow we are going to a train expo. Not quite sure what to expect, but we are hoping it's fun. Hope Daddy is enjoying his new job, we miss you.

Got a haircut - but didn't like getting it cut one bit.

Wednesday: January 27, 2010

Went to a bouncy house today. I didn't want to play because of the loud fans, but when Mom took me outside to go home I said, "bounce try again?" So I "gave it another shot" and had a lot of fun. The place had several jumping areas and an obstacle course. My favorite part was the one with the basketball hoop. Mommy even got in with me and had fun jumping.

Sunday: January 24, 2010

Mom and Dad went to a country music concert so Grandma and Grandpa came over to babysit me. I behaved myself pretty good I think. They brought me a happy meal for dinner and we watched a movie together.

"Mom... put down the camera and come play with me."

Thursday: January 21, 2010

Went to get my haircut this morning, but didn't want to sit in the chair. Mommy tried all sorts of things... fruit gummies, M&Ms, ice cream trip, sit on Mom's lap... but I just didn't want anything to do with getting my hair cut. Maybe another time. Then at home I had a visit from Miss Julie from the "Parents as Teachers Heroes at Home" program. She brings fun new activities for me to try. It's a free program designed to help parents enhance their child's development of language and social and intellectual growth. Afterwards I watched Caillou - one of my favorite television programs - before my nap. I got a quick awakening from my nap because Khaki barked when the fire department knocked on our door. They asked Mom if we dialed 911, she had a quick panic attack and thought maybe I had the phone, but they just had the wrong address... hopefully they found who needed help. This evening I had fun climbing on the couch and falling off - I'm such a daredevil monkey.

Daddy had today off from work so we decided to go ice skating. I did better than my first time out. The rink we went to had some little bars I could push to help me. That helped Mom and Dad's back not get so sore. Towards the end I even skated a little by myself. I was very tired at the end of the day...

PS) I also really like the movie "The Wild" and have fun ROARING! and scaring Mom and Dad.

Taking a nap with my buddy Grover. I've been sleeping in my bed for eight nights in a row now.

Wednesday: January 13, 2010

Mommy babysat her friend's little girl this morning, so I got to play with her. She was pretty cute and I shared my toys well, but glad to have them all to myself again.

Tuesday: January 12, 2010

Today is Mom's birthday, but she let me help blow out her candles on her cake. Daddy, Grandpa, Grandma and me took her out to dinner at a nice restaurant. I behaved myself REALLY well. Everyone was very proud of me. I ate some bread and had some fettucine alfredo. Then we came home for chocolate cake and mint chip ice cream! Happy Birthday Mommy!!!

Thursday: January 7, 2010

More snow and more really cold weather, so Mom and I are stuck inside for awhile. We had a good time watching cartoons, playing hockey, racing cars, and other fun stuff. Last night I wanted to sleep in my bed instead of my crib, and I stayed there all night long. Tonight I chose the bed again. I'm growing up...

Monday: January 4, 2010

Mom and I went bowling this morning with a playgroup. I had fun for about 6 frames and then wanted to go home. But I did get to wear really cool shoes! Probably going to help Mom take down the Christmas decorations later today.

Let's Go HUSKERS! Let's GO! Nebraska plays Arizona tonight in the Holiday Bowl. I hope the Big Red wins!!

Yesterday I wanted 3 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and even made them myself. Well, Mommy helped me a little. And I also enjoyed playing hockey with Mom in the driveway, although I kept slipping on the ice in spots. We eventually moved back inside cause I wouldn't keep my gloves on. Maybe we'll go ice skating soon.

Sunday: December 27, 2009

Grandma and Grandpa came over today to celebrate Christmas with us. I got to open more presents. I really like my tent and car carrier truck they gave me. Then I showed them how to play the "Elefun" game. I get a little too excited playing the game and jump all around and forget to catch the butterflies coming out of the elephant's trunk.

Saturday: December 26, 2009

Helping shovel again. We sure did get a lot of snow! Don't I look so cool? I even got out my tricycle and rode it in the driveway. I like to eat the snow too.

Friday: December 25, 2009

Merry Christmas!

Thursday: December 17, 2009

Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by our street on a fire truck today! Heard the sirens and honking and Mom quickly got my coat on. Grandpa was over playing with me, so he took me outside to visit Santa and say hi to the fire truck too.

Sunday: December 13, 2009

Had fun making gingerbread cookies. Helped roll out the dough, cut out using cookie cutters, put them on cookie sheets, and of course was ready to help taste test them. I made sure I got the full effect with a glass of milk and a holiday movie, Frosty the Snowman.

Thursday: December 10, 2009

SNOW!

Sunday: December 6, 2009

When I woke up from my nap today Mom and Dad had put up the Christmas tree.  I helped Mom decorate it with ornaments. I took them out of the boxes faster than Mom could hang them up. Then I found the stockings and thought it'd be funny to put them on as socks and gloves. Yep I'm a silly boy!

Saturday: December 5, 2009

Went to another "sticks" game today. Watched the Omaha Lancers Hockey Team. Daddy bought me a really cool hat that looks like a hockey helmet. I had fun watching the game with Dad, Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa... although it was a little loud at times. I clapped and cheered and overall had a good time.

Sunday: November 29, 2009

Playing "sticks" with Daddy and having a lot of fun. Did a lot of dancing to music on TV this weekend too. Enjoyed time spent with family during Thanksgiving. Went shopping with Mom one day and some little girl was having a fit... I was scared of her at first and then told her "it's okay, it's okay" Everyone thought I was very cute. Our fence was put up in our backyard so it's easier for me to play outside now when it's warm out.

Thursday: November 19, 2009

I have a little fever, but I am still having fun doing the marshmallow shooter with Khaki... and hanging out in my jammies.

Monday: November 16, 2009

Last night I had fun playing with my friend Vincent, and met 2 new friends Carter and Camden. They are sons of Mommy's friends from high school. We had fun playing with toys and ate Chinese for dinner. I watched a show the other day and the little boy in it was learning to tie his shoe. Mom watched me walking around in Daddy's boots and saw that I was repeating the song about how to tie shoes... "around the tree..." and trying to tie the laces. I'm a quick learner!

11.14.2009

Friday: November 13, 2009

Went to my first live hockey game (UNO vs. LakeSuperior) YIPEE! I liked seeing the blimp going around the arena. Daddy bought me ice cream and popcorn and we had a really good time watching the "sticks." Mommy bought me my own hockey jersey.

11.13.2009

Tuesday: November 10, 2009

Today I had so fun with my friend Vincent. We went to Fontelle Forest and participated in their little kids event. We played with blocks, scooped corn, ran through tunnels, explored the night sounds (crickets, owls, etc) exhibit, played musical instruments, and went for a walk outside looking for squirrels. He's cool, he loves to run too!

Sunday: November 8, 2009

I got my haircut last week. It was starting to tickle my ears and get in my eyes, so it was time... but my curls are still showing. Daddy is teaching me how to play hockey (or as I call it sticks). I'm pretty good at it according to Mom and Dad. I can hit the ball back and forth quite a few times and have some power behind it too.

11.06.2009

Thursday: November 5, 2009

One of my favorite things to do lately is play "baseball" and I can actually hit the ball with my "bat." I request to play every day. Sometimes I pitch to myself and sometimes Daddy or Mommy pitches. The weather here has been nice so we've been spending some time outside at the playgrounds too.

More fun today flying the helicopter.

Sunday: November 1, 2009

Had a lot of fun flying a remote control helicopter. Dad let me have the remote and I did a really great job flying it. Mom and Dad were both surprised and proud of me. Of course I didn't want to stop playing, but eventually the helicopter needed to rest (recharge the battery). It was a really nice day so we all went for a walk and played on the playground and then tonight we went to a church spaghetti feed.

Happy Halloween! ROAR!!!
